UK Government to Crowdsource Spending Cuts on Facebook

The BBC reports that prime minister David Cameron spoke to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg via Skype recently about the plan.

  3. how can fife council justify updating the Kirkaldy high street at £4.5 million when we are all supposed to be strapped for cash?

  4. The concept of "shovel ready projects", which was around the World promoted as a way to stimulate economies, has translated into "street improvement projects". This has happened in more than one country now.

    It would be interesting to see where the money for such projects actually ends up going. More than likely the only stimulus is to the pockets of those in government.
