FRACTURES is a new web series consisting of short abstract films
examining the macabre, the twisted and the obscure. Unlike a regular
series, each film stands alone as a fractured moment from a much
larger story, told from the perspectives of different characters
across a range of locations. The aim of the work is to challenge
typical horror conventions and build upon these with a concentration
in originality. All films are presented in varying styles by an
eclectic group of filmmakers, exploiting the creative freedoms of
producing micro-budget shorts for the web. All these films are
available for free and without advertising.
The FRACTURES series will culminate with a collection of fifteen
separate shorts what will work together to convey a complete narrative
on the theme of grief and regret. The filmmakers are currently raising
funds through Indiegogo: www.indiegogo.com/fractures in order to
complete the rest of the series.
To date, four of the fifteen films in the series have been completed;
Night Eater, An Acquired Taste, Hired Help and Spill, which can all be
viewed on www.fracturesfilms.com.

Over the weekend James "The Angry Video Game Nerd" Rolfe was at Digital Press in Clifton New Jersey for an autograph session and the result was a massive crowd of excited fans bringing every form of memorabilia or even just crap they found on the ground for James to sign. The highlight was seeing a guy bring a pizza box from Papa John's for James to sign. (That and the nice girl who asked him to sign her boobs.)
Yet another example of the power of the web that the AVGN can draw a huge crowd just by showing up to a video game shop. It also proves that even if you're making your videos in Philadelphia, (or Nebraska as Fred showed,) you can hit celebrity status without leaving home. Cudos to James on a great weekend and if you were in Clifton or anywhere near it and weren't there; where were you???

Red Carpet Premiere & Mini-Concert set for December 14th in Burbank
HOLLYWOOD, CA (December 4, 2010) – The wait is finally over – Miss Behave Season Two is set to debut both on their official home, http://missbehave.tv and the web network http://koldcast.tv in just under two weeks. Says creator/executive producer Susan Bernhardt, “It seems like we just launched the show and now it's already time for our Season Two premiere!” She continues, “Although we hit a few obstacles just weeks before production, Season Two is 100 percent better than the first. From our amazingly dedicated cast and crew, exquisite music, generous branding sponsors, and everyone else that supported the show. Our second season story will make you laugh and cry in the same episode - I can't wait to share it with the world!”
Leading the cast of Miss Behave is eighteen year old actress, recording artist and executive producer Jillian Clare, currently seen as mean girl “Haley” in Freak the Freak Out, the one hour Victorious movie on Nickelodeon. Joining Jillian are best friends on and off screen Brett DelBuono (Let Me In) and Jenna Stone. Rounding out the series regular cast is Michael Bolten (Flipped), Bianca Magick, Jamison Tate and James Rustin. An elite group of other recognizable names guest star throughout the series including Eric Martsolf (Days of Our Lives), Madisen Beaty (Pregnancy Pact), Kyle Kaplan (10 Things I Hate About You), plus ex-Days of Our Lives stars Patrika Darbo and Jacee Jule best known to Miss Behave fans as the infamous Dr. Freed and her straight-laced assistant Kristina.
A holiday themed premiere and gift card drive is slated for Tuesday evening, December 14th with red carpet arrivals beginning at 6:30 pm. The VIP show (emceed by the glamorous DIY goddess Carol Ann McCracken from McCracken LIVE) is scheduled from 7-9:30 pm, with special music guests (as heard in Miss Behave Season Two) including The Jane Carrey Band which brings the sophistication and smoldering expressiveness of jazz to the passion and tunefulness of folk-tinged alternative rock and Aaron Barnhart, a well-traveled recording artist that mixes contemporary rock with thoughtful lyrics and memorable melodies. The evening will conclude with a shocking second season preview that sets the tone for the sophomore season.
Confirmed to attend are Miss Behave stars including Jillian Clare (Victorious), Brett DelBuono (Let Me In), Michael Bolten (Fliipped), Bianca Magick, James Rustin, Jamison Tate, Madisen Beaty (Pregnancy Pact), Kyle Kaplan (10 Things I Hate About You), Eric Martsolf (Days of Our Lives), Brennan Bailey (The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation), Patrika Darbo (The Search for Santa Paws), Jacee Jule, Kasey Campbell, Bobby Preston and Preston Bailey (Dexter, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer, The Crazies). Additional invited celebrities include Disney and Nickelodeon stars, Jason Dolley, Debby Ryan, Avan Jogia, Matt Bennett, Kyle Massey, Corbin Bleu, Erin Sanders, Daniella Monet, Gage Golightly, Gregg Sulkin and film/television stars Luke Kleintank (The Young and the Restless, No Ordinary Family), Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars), Taylor Spreitler (Melissa and Joey), Stephen Lunsford(Private Practice), David Cade (Big Time Rush) and many more.
When: Tuesday, December 14th
Where: Flappers Comedy Club - 102 East Magnolia Street, Burbank, CA 91502
Red Carpet Arrivals: 6:30 pm
A limited number of VIP tickets are available to purchase via the official home of Miss Behave TV, http://missbehave.tv for 35.00 each. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the cast, get a sneak peek of the second season, enjoy music by amazing indie artists, win prizes and walk away with a celebrity swag bag – what a GREAT GIFT IDEA for the Miss Behave fan! Each guest is encouraged to bring a Target or Toys R Us gift card for donation in any denomination.
Why a Gift Card Drive? With the holiday season upon us, we found it only fitting to support a cause and decided to sponsor a toy drive for Children's Hospital LA. However, space at the hospital to store all of the toys and gifts is at a premium, so we opted for the perfect alternative - a “Gift Card Drive” instead of a traditional toy drive. Gift cards allow them to maximize the gift for the patients because they provide the staff with the flexibility to make “on-demand” toy purchases as they are needed for the patients. If a particular patient would benefit less from a toy and more from an educational game or book, they might be able to distribute a gift card to that patient as a gift from you to them during their recovery.
Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a non-profit academic and pediatric medical center. CHLA provides the highest quality health care for children who are the sickest and most seriously injured in our region and beyond. For more information about Children's Hospital LA, please visit: http://chla.org

Welcome to Venice Beach, CA. There's no other city in America quite as colorful, crazy or content. The Strand takes us into the lives of several characters that inhabit this offbeat, slightly surreal world and shows us that no matter how different we are on the outside, we're all basically the same animal on the inside.
