I can absolutely understand how anyone not using Twitter (and some trying it) might feel that way.
I only tried it because it was mandated as a way to get crucial PR information for my company.
Once I participated, though, I learned that much more was possible.
Now-less than 5 months later-Twitter is my #1 source of new ideas, new blogs and traffic to my sites. It's also paved the way for several concrete business relationships.
Just out of curiosity. Am I the only one who thinks twitter is stupid?
