A Few Words From The Writer

Living so close to the production of “The Walking Dead,” it has been easy to see the rising popularity of zombies. The market was becoming inundated with lots of the same ideas. When Liz asked me if I could come up with a script that kind of looked at the whole Zombie Apocalypse thing from a different point of view, I was thrilled. Her idea was to look at it through the lens of reality shows similar to ones we have today. That was all I needed to get cracking.
“Undead Hunter” was a chance for me to give a shout out to one of my favorite reality shows of all time - “The Crocodile Hunter” - and I am grateful to Liz for giving me the opportunity to play Billy, the hunter, in the episode. Once again, seeing the hard work and professionalism of the cast and crew up close was inspiring. I have worked on other productions and shorts that did not run on time, did not have a set schedule and did not respect the time of the people participating. Zombie Socks has been top notch since day one and I know that even when I can’t be on set when filming of my scripts are taking place, they are in excellent hands.
