So its closing on three years since Lonelygirl15's first vlog. When she was still new and a rising star, New York Magazine famously called the (suspected) hoax a potential "new art form."

But it wasn't a new art form because it was a pretty girl vlogging, of course. It was because of the possibilities being raised by bree in conjunction with her followers:
