8:50 PT Protest in Long Beach has been broken up peacefully and police have backed off.

8:25 PT Dispersal order given for unlawful assembly). Police have warned protesters that they will use impact weapons, chemical agents and dogs to disperse the protest.


8:05 PT Police have formed a line blocking the road. Protesters have set up a tent in the middle of the road and are beginning to sit on the street. The police are arming with less than lethal weapons.
