From LG15.com

Hey guys, there was some mis-communication on our side. Here's what's happening:

1. We are uploading all the content to the new site. We did "The Resistance," "The Last," and "lonelygirl15." Next up is "KateModern," and then "OpAPHID."

2. We will continue to provide links to the old "Resistance"/"Last" site so you can read the old comments, but you won't be able to sign-up or login. This is because we aren't supporting that old codebase and we don't want to split the user database between the old and new site. All community interactivity and new LG15 series will occur on the new site.

3. We will continue to provide a link to the old lonelygirl15 phpBB forum. If you already have an account you can login. You can't sign-up for a new account. There is some SQL error and we aren't supporting those servers or code and we don't have time to fix it.

4. At some point we'll move the old comments from "Resistance"/"Last" and the old lonelygirl15 forum threads over to the new site. I don't know how long that will take or exactly what it will look like and how it will all work together when it's done. It's more complicated than you think.

Thanks and hope you are loving "Outbreak" as much as I am!

LG15: Outbreak - I AM SO SCREWED. - Will

Today, I got pulled aside from work. Usually this happens when someone is either about to get fired, or promoted.
...I wasn't up for promotion.

Why The iPad Is Crap Futurism

The convergence device, which people began to discuss seriously in the 1990s, would be a unified gadget where you could consume many kinds of media, especially TV and the web, with the same gadget.

The Prestige of the Pad. I mean the Page.

Everything is consumed on a portable tablet of some sort, the lines of corporate and self publishing blurred....how do we find the new Salinger, the new Fitzgerald, and if we find them, will we accept them as such if there isn't the corporate stamp of physical approval behind them?

The Web.Files #28 - A Comicbook Orange

Kristyn Burtt Web.Files

On this week’s episode of The Web.Files, Kristyn Burtt interviews Casey McKinnon and Rudy Jahchan from A Comicbook Orange. The interview moves rather quickly and even if one has never seen A Comicbook Orange, the duo is engaging enough to warrant a look. Also, once again the Web.Files crew went crazy with the editing and visual effects, which really made for an interesting interview. Oh, and make sure to watch all the way to end, to hear a little bit about Casey McKinnon’s time working for the United Nations.

Hosted by Casey McKinnon, A Comicbook Orange is now in its 5th season and features comicbook news, reviews, and interviews with industry leaders. Originally a part of Galacticast, the show spun off into its own series in 2007 as part of Next New Network’s Pulp Secret comicbook site. In 2009, the series returned as an independent project.

Level 26: Perception

Posted by Anthony E. Zuiker

The video below deals with perception. I came across the original video that this one is referencing, thought I’m unable to find it on YouTube. The video below takes through the evidence to help you solve the puzzle of “How Did Michel Gondry solve a Rubik’s Cube with his feet?”
