A Conversation While... Chapter 5

A Conversation While... - Chapter 5
http://www.aconversationwhile.com

In chapter 5, Jasper tells Horace, "We're born into a network of corporations supplying everything from necessities to luxuries. And the more we're saddled with financial burdens, the more we're controlled. " What do YOU think?

1. How much freedom do we have in our current economic system?
2. Is it possible to live outside of the larger socioeconomic system?
If so, what would that entail? If not, why not?
3. Which kind of economic system would you prefer? One that fosters competition or one based on cooperation?

  1. "3. Which kind of economic system would you prefer? One that fosters competition or one based on cooperation?"

Why can't you have both? Why should they be mutually exclusive?

  2. Tip: if you upload an "icon" for your show (say under the video) then that icon becomes an option when posting the link to FB. We always have the option of the "featured" article icon, but sometimes an alternative can draw more attention to a story.

  3. Every animal system has its method of selecting those within it that are most "fit to reproduce". That is why many fight over territories or have sophisticated displays.
