"The Struggle" An A Tru Lady Production

“The Struggle” is about  three women struggling in life to find who they really are. This fascinating story takes you through the ups and downs of staying true to self.

Main Characters:

Leslie Carmichael: Rich young female. Never had to work a day in her life. Parents supported her all her life. Until, her drug addition got out of hand. Parents cut her off and put her out of their house . They cut her off and put her in her own place. The only reason she turned to drugs was to fulfill the lack of attention.

Nakita "Kita" Smith: Young ghetto female. Struggled most of her life with her mom being a single parent. Every thing changed when she meet Duke. She got pregnant before he went to jail. But, her son thinks that Nakita is his sister.

Tricia Jones: The loner type. Grew up with her and her mom. Mom was addicted to crack. So Tricia was forced to move in with her grand parents. Tricia never had love or trust for anyone, after, she felt betrayed by her mom. She copes with her loneliness by smoking weed.
