Starting From...Now! Hit's the big Four oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, OH!

Starting From...Now! has amassed another million views, taking the total views on the lesbian drama to well over 4 million.

According to series co-producer and actor, Lauren Orrell, “The success of this series, other LGBTI projects, and shows like Orange Is the New Black and Orphan Black, show there is a demand for this kind of content.  People want to see themselves represented on screen, with visceral and engaging storylines.  It’s important to our sense of self and I think it’s an important part in furthering the acceptance of LGBTI people within society.  It’s said often, but it’s true, media and film has a really big part to play.”

This comes at a very exciting time for the series and the company behind it, Common Language Films, as they enter talks for the development of longer form projects, including both series and feature films.   As Julie Kalceff, director of Common Language Films and the brains behind SFN succinctly put it, “It’s a very exciting time.”

Introducing, Starting From...Now!

Starting From...Now is the lesbian web series from Australia that's hooked people from all walks of life.  Launching in March of this year, they are already in their 3rd season (with a huge leap in production values) and have amassed over 4 million views world wide.
