LGpedia needs your HELP: Ways To Help

  1. a rising tide lifts all boats? its helped the subsequent vids a lot.

  2. Time will tell on that one.

The boost in subscriptions has been pretty low so far and the impact seems to be diminishing over time.

Then again with the Finale coming up perhaps they can get a second boost of equal magnitude.

  3. it looks like after the vid dropped off the "most viewed today" list (i.e, 48 hours after release), views slowed down. its #5 on the most viewed this week list last i looked, but the current youtube interface makes it harder to get to the week/month/all time lists than it used to (due to use of drop down menus).

  4. I agree anon... I find it difficult to celebrate. The whole thing turned my stomach. I remember when LG15 used to be about a good story. Now it's all about how many salacious thumbnails and titles the Creators can generate.

Woo Hoo! Congrats on your success appealing to the lowest common denominator.

  5. umm message to the naysayers...have you guys donated money to this production? then this is what they have to do..its the same story, the thembnails are a little provocative,,boo hoo, if you dont like it then throw some of your own money thier way..otherwise suck it up

  6. I (king of the naysayers) actually really liked this one. I guess I ignored the titillating parts and concentrated on the presence of a real villainous character for once, in the form of Dr. Hart.

I have always thought the weakest part of the Orderite plot was the lack of a credible bad guy, Smirking Watchers are just silly. The Hymn of Juan folks are even more ridiculous. That scream at the end of this video actually made me jump though. For the first time, I actually had a sense of dread from one the so-called bad guys. I was fairly dissapointed that they did not cut off Bree's head in the last Finale.

I suppose the response is due more to the salacious scenes, title, and thumbnails though. I don't doubt that we have seen the last of these techniques though, as they appears to really pull in the "casual" (non-phan) viewers.

  7. I wonder how many hits they would have gotten with the original title:
"Dr. Hart Explains His Reasons for Betraying Emma and Jonas."
