In the new LaResisto video, there's some footage that's really hard to see. I think there's definitely a message here...somewhere we're supposed to go or figure out! Can anyone get screenshots?

Today started with a live action scene in Carnaby Street for fans to witness (and see Kate and Tariq and Sophie in the flesh!) This was followed by updates and footage from the AMAZING KM fans who were there (extra Kudos to Dani and Psmith!)and rather than stifle their reports until the official footage was put up, KateModern Productions bebo page actually posted a link to the blog and thanked the fans for their interaction!
Meanwhile there has been an ongoing story progression between Gavin and Charlie in the locked office (4 videos in one day so far!) KateModern is turning into something much more exciting and interactive than this blogger would ever have thought. Well done Miles and crew (there, I said it :) )

Hi... this is Psmith (LGPedia admin). Here is the latest info (SPOILERS BELOW).
Action is over. After hearing sirens a group of "tourists and passer-bys" (i.e. LG & KM fans) ran towards a side street (Ganton Street?). The big mosaic mural can be found there on one wall. The road was cordoned off with an ambulance and police car and policemen were standing outside an office. Tariq rushes up angrily worried about Kate. A body comes out of an office wheeled on a trolley... but then Kate turns up. It is not her but the doctor who was wheeled out in a black bag.
Possible watcher hanging round in Carnaby Street beforehand taking photos.

I've used a lot of question marks in my last 2 posts- I'd like to see it all addressed. There's no "give it to me in a nutshell." But "the question" is the question that encompasses all other questions: What is the vision? What is the plan? The TOS is about legality and ownership. What I'm talking about is motivation.
What motivates people to make videos?
1) Fun! It's not fun when no one watches. At some point each UGC producer has to ask themselves how many subscribers or views do I need to make the time, effort and sometimes money worth it? In the C's overall vision for UGC how will they help promote UGC to gain views/subscribers?
2) Money. I don't know how much money really can be made but in the C's overal vision for UGC what opportunities are there for monetization? (this one has been touched upon in the TOS obviously because ownership is a factor)
3) Prestige. Maybe someone wants to make an in character cameo ala Jerry or have their name mentioned as a crazy code cracker does C's overall vision for UGC provide such opportunities and how?
4) You want to be a pro! You have an original series and you want to stake your claim in the internet world. How does the C's overall vision for UGC help makes this happen beyond just providing another place to host videos?
I'm sure there is more but my mind is racing from this energy drink. You get the idea. If you look at ARG like interaction it's clear what role it plays because there was a process. They integrated OpAphid, it didn't work out, they hire writers with ARG backgrounds and write puzzles elements into the story rather than having an ongoing game. There's been no process for UGC. We've been operating under the same mandate since the Nov 24th post.

Right now the lonelygirl15 YT acct. is dormant. That's 100,000 subscribers sitting and waiting. They have to do something with that right? I mean I don't think the fans would accept anyone else posting under Bree's screename.
Seems the logical thing to do would be to turn the acct. into a lonelygirl15 productions acct. I mean on this site all the lonelygirl15 videos are on the same vid stream. All character interaction is done on the forum. Each character has their own MySpace. Why have multiple charactet YT accts?
They could post all the lonelygirl15 vids on one acct, plus all the KM videos. I'm pretty sure Spencer vids would get more views than he does now.
And if they were to come into an arrangement with an original user generated non lg15 related series posting to the lonelygirl15 productions acct would be where they could help most.

STORY SUMMARY
Will/Sean "wakes up" after a 7 year hiatus. He has been in a coma since he was 14. There was a fire and 6 people were dead. Sean was the only survivor. He has been communicating by video with Abel, (who appears to be the cult leader), Mr Gone ( who appears to be a malevolent spirit-masquerading as his friend)
and Bell (she is in love with Sean, and is the charge of Abel). Will/Sean is angry at Abel who has been lying to him and leaves the commune. He periodically comes back as needed for ceremonies. He is referred to as the "Eternal Light" and has an important role in the cult. He has a nefarious past as a hitman for someone.
Mr. Gone wants the "seal" that Sean has - he kidnapped Bell to try and lure Sean into giving it up. He tortured Bell, threatening to hang her and cut off two of her fingers. Sean saved her and Mr Gone's lair went up in flames. Bell has not been the same since. Sean sent her back to the commune , where Abel locked her up and tried to get information about Will and the seal from her. Abel also took her to the "medicine wheel' a few times which she seemed to dread.
There is a ceremony being held in August at the Georgia guidestones on AUGUST 13th: Vertumnalia. Sean is necessary for this ceremony.
Will sent a message to Bell asking her to kill Abel. Bell posts that she will do as he asks, but that she will have to die in the process. Something happens at the medicine wheel , Abel has disappeared and Bell was left in a trance. Gone witnessed the whole thing. Sean has since denied any knowledge of sending that message.
Sean now has Bell, she is not normal. She does not speak. There are hints that she is not what she appears to be she is a "wolf in sheep's clothing." There is "something" inside her. Sean has the ability to go in and investigate, he produces a video of what he finds inside her.
Mr. Gone is also interacting with Kris from London/San Francisco files. He has asked him to get some "stones" for him.
As a result of Sean trying to heal Bell he has been wounded, possibly murdered at her hands.
Henry discovered another alias of Sean's , youtube user- Moondoggle. Bell now has the seal.

While we as fans think innocently to call Lonelygirl15 "LG15," some people are upset and down right disgusted.
LG is a commonly used underground term for "Little Girls," used by Child Molestors and Pedifiles, and is commonly seen as a common code name for Child Pornography sites.
While we see it as an innocent gesture, while I mentioned it to a mother downtown today, she became disgruntled and offended by my consistent use of LG15 as a short term version of Lonelygirl15. I was completely uneducated by this, and I actually came to agree with her.
While we see this as an innocent gesture, it may be a down fall for the LG community and the difference between parents approval and disapproval.

The "subscription rape" script seems to be at work again!
LG15 YouTube subscriptions have dropped from 99,000 to 93.500 and continues to drop! I guess Youtube does not have a handle on the problem yet.

We want Maddison Atkins and all other fan stories to continue as well! It is not our intent to stop anything. We need a TOS and some rules and we want them to be open and foster creativity.
We are confused by all the issues with our new proposal. It will let people make fan videos legally and make all the original stories they want. We need some protection for fan videos/derivative content. If we didn't, then someone could just write a new KateModern and sell it to some website. You know we can't do that.
With original stories, people can do whatever they want with them and make them commercial in any way they see fit. All we ask is that when they are uploaded/embedded on our site, we can still have advertising on our site around the videos. We are not going to make DVD's or do anything else with them that would take money out of the pocket of the content creator. To the contrary, we want to share the revenue generated from those videos and our site traffic through a revver type system.
Finally, we want to make sure that someone doesn't upload a video to our site and then sue us later claiming that we stole their idea.
This is not a corporate thing and we aren't trying to be difficult. We just want a great site with great fan content where everyone is happy.
Thanks and hopefully with our new TOS, calm will be restored and many more fan videos/original stories will be told. We more than anyone out there are all about fostering creativity and opportunities for aspiring filmmakers - it is who we are.

We have read all the posts and will take everyone's thoughts into account when we re-write our TOS.
One note about Jeromy's post. All of our ideas for Kate are 100% our ideas. We wrote and submitted a treatment to Bebo several months ago that included the storyline of a girl that has a blood test and can't remember the following events. Any similarity between Kate and redearth on our part is purely a coincidence.
However, Jeromy brings up a good point. Fan stories that are original or derivative might relate/overlap to the exact story we are telling. Are we to scrap weeks of writing/filming/editing if we see a fan video that has similar storylines to what we have already shot or where we want to take the story? Since the last thing we want to do is ban fan videos on our site, we really need a clear TOS that lets you make fan fiction or original stories and prevents us from being sued or ruining our production.
One final point. Based on the TOS, we would not be able to package your videos into a DVD without your permission. If we did that and you simply removed your videos from our site (either with a tool we will create or by asking BK), we would no longer be able to distribute the DVD's. With that in mind, please realize that we will not be making a DVD with your videos unless we reach out to you and get a license. This is the same reason why YouTube can't make a DVD with all of our videos. We would just pull them off the site and they would lose the ability to distribute the DVD.
Simply put, all we want to do is the following:
1) Let you make derivative/fan fic videos legally and distribute them anywhere non-commercially.
2) Create a system where you can be compensated for your derivative/fan fic videos on our site.
3) Have you upload original videos to our site and monetize those videos by banner ads, contests, or in-stream video advertising. To do this last part, we need a license to distribute your videos to the world and to monetize them. We also want you to be able to monetize original videos on our site however you want - sell your own brand integration or come up with some form of revenue sharing system.
We think this is fair and benefits all of us. We are working on a new TOS. When it is done, we welcome your feedback.

In the past few hours Lonelygirl15 subscribers on Youtube have apparently dropped from 99,000 to 0 for some unknown reason. It could be a technical error but we believe it is some sort of internet attack.
LG15 "subscribers" is currently set to: 0 The account hit zero at approximately 5:42 EST.
It has been suggested that a "subscription rape" script maybe at work which leads to an inaccurate YouTube subscription count. This would be supported by the fact that we have not had any reports of anyone actually being "unsubcribed" by this "event".

The Smosh YouTube account now appears to be under a similar attack as is the Danielbeast account!

the store I mentioned in the video is Micro Center located in NY- I brought it to the store on July 5th b/c I was running around for the 777 gathering and I had no free time. i was assured that the problem could be fixed at the store- but I was wrong-
MICRO CENTER is just at fault as Apple. The manager at Micro center lied to be on numerous occasions, for instance he told me he had no way of contacting apple to find out where my computer is.
Micro center needs a lesson in customer support as well-

Hi Everyone. I just want to start by saying once again, thank you all so much for your interest in me and my videos. It just amazes me how supportive you guys all are. I feel like I'm part of a community now and that I can share all my problems with you. That in itself proves my point, not everyone who's new to you is bad for you. I hear everything you guys are saying about Steve. I've done a search on this Hymn of One thing. I found a reference to Aleister Crowley and something about a boarding school in the US but nothing that seems particualrly crazy. I think it's all just rumours that have spread around the Internet based on things that are fictional but which a lot of people believe is real.
