"I realize that I will be focusing mainly on the ARG component of the story because this allows me to discuss:

1) The role of user performativity in the creation of narratives (chaotic narratives in this case)

2) Blurring the lines between fact and fiction will allow me to tie in with the discussion on metafiction that I have in my print chapter (which immediately precedes this one)

3) The transmedial nature of ARGs will tie in with my Second Life chapter which talks about user-generated content spread across multiple platforms

4) This is the least discussed and known component of LG15, so it will bring out some aspect of it that’s not been beaten to the ground, a fresh perspective if you will (part of the reason I think is that it takes a lot of time tracing out the ARG analytically)"
