Quarterlife Ratings=Ouch.

Series From Internet To NBC Bombs Big

"The team behind thirtysomething and My So-Called Life recorded NBC's worst time-period performance in at least 17 years despite The Biggest Loser as a lead-in. Agents are telling me that as a result the show may only get one or two airings on NBC."

Creator disses 'quarterlife' move to NBC

"It never should have been a network show. It's too specific," Herskovitz told the group at HBS' Entertainment & Media conference, adding, "It will probably end up on cable."

  1. If the show "never should have been on network TV" then why did he accept NBC's offer???

  2. exactly, HS. Herskovitz has done a complete 180 in the last 48 hours. the NBC deal was announced when qlife debuted online. it was touted as showing the power of online video. they rode that wave of press to whatever initial online success q-life had.

  5. i knew it was a bad idea from teh start when they mentioned NBC... webseries are thought up in the first place as webseries... transferring them over to that crap called comercial TV just dosent happen...
