Joss Whedon and FOX launch a Dollhouse Alternate Reality Game

Dollhouse, Joss Whedon's new television series starring Eliza Dukshu, doesn't premiere on FOX until January of 2009. (And just to be on the safe side, fans are already organizing efforts to prevent the show from being cancelled).

Perhaps it can be taken as a good sign that FOX is already throwing their marketing support behind the series:

A few days ago, a trailhead emerged for a Dollhouse Alternate Reality Game. Using a login and password found in a comment on a FOX weblog, players can gain access to a character's email, which sets the story in motion and reveals details about the series universe.
