Who Killed Laura Palmer?

This was the question made famous in 1990-1991 with the airing of the television serial murder mystery, Twin Peaks. If, like me, you never watched the show and have no idea of the answer, now is your chance to watch all of seasons 1 and 2 anew on CBS.com : http://www.cbs.com/classics/twin_peaks/

  1. No spoiler comments please...

But I can't help but wonder what Gavin would say?

  2. That show was the LOST decades before LOST. Season 1 rawked!!! Season 2 sucked!!! :( They should really remake this show.

Oh and isn't there a statute of limitations on spoiler alerts???
Like is "Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father" really a spoiler anymore? Or that the Wizard of Oz is really a feeble old man a spoiler anymore?
What you're basically saying is "Who shot JR? BUT NO SPOILERS!!!"

This show was a piece of pop culture history, it will be hard to not talk about spoilers. But I will respect your wishes.

  3. funny about the darth vader thing. one of the chillins likes this book about the baddies in star wars, and it reveals all that stuff in there, including the luke-leia connection -- and he's only seen the first movie!!!! it distresses me to know that when i let him watch return of the jedi, he will already know!

  4. This was one of my absoulte favorite shows of all time. Season 2 was really bad though. And it's the worst ending of a show EVER! But don't worry Q, I won't spoil it for ya! But let me know what you think of it, okay? I could discuss it for hours.

  5. Oh, and that's JenniPowell, as this is as well. I have accidentally submitted comments with my "professional" account, which lists my full name. Don't use this as an excuse to start calling me Jennifer. *shivers*

  6. Yeah I agree. Big letdown ending. It was almost as if they changed writers between seasons and the season two writers had no idea what was going on.
LoL Don't worry Jennifer (lol) the comment that was deleted was my more personal e-mail. LoL I occassionally forget to switch SN's too! lol

  7. Hopeful: I actually heard that David Lynch purposefully let season 2 go to shit because he heard they were cancelling the show. The crap ending was a big "f-you" to the network.

Unfortunately, that's ended up turning into a big "f-you" to the fans as well...
