Facebook reassures users in wake of service terms change

Facebook on Monday said it is not usurping users' content despite changing service terms to claim "perpetual worldwide license" to anything posted at the social-networking website.

  3. Facebook is the least of your problems when you send your friends a picture of you passed out drunk on the bathroom floor. A good friend laughs at you, a great friend prints out 436 copies and sticks it up on every telephone pole on campus. Ah college, good times.

  4. Fortunately there are no pictures (& will never be pictures) of me like that.

    I'm only worried about my photography & them claiming they own it forever. Forever is a mighty long time.

    Someone has already taken legal action, so hopefully this will be resolved soon.

    Oh and you should probably post that facebook reverted to its old TOS for the time being.
