Miles away from lonely

"What if the Harry Potter books launched with an official community built around the universe and mythology, where there was the creator J.K. Rowling, and there was extra content, and the books themselves were interactive, and everyone could have profile pages, and they could come up with their own characters and write their fan fiction and create their own story lines?"

WEB PROGRAMMING 2.1

Now it helps to already have made that film… complete with dedicated website, blog, Facebook/Myspace pages, key word, Search Engine Optimization(SEO) and email strategy, even perhaps a flash game widget.

  2. Is Miles trying to get rid of the competition, or why does he want to run the Harry Potter franchise into the ground as well?

'cause, you know, EQAL's approach worked so well for LG15 and HG.

We should count the days until the L26 community is dead and rotting.

    ...It would suck. Next question.

  4. Harper's Globe was a success, Renegade. Yes the community aspect might not be doing so hot, but CBS is more at fault than EQAL for that bit, but the view-counts, while not exactly Fred or Smosh numbers, were still pretty respectable on the main HG account.

  5. We do not know how many of the views actually came from the embeds with autoplay on the lonelygirl15 and other NOT HG Eqal accounts. Clearly if you want an accurate view count you would have to subtract those because HG was clearly not what one would expect when visiting lonelygirl15 on youtube.

Also HG was running a weekly TV commercial and while that helped the HG site sign up 14k members that pales in comparison to the number of people watching the commercial.

Further the individual daily posts had very poor views. Why, when the weekly post had so many more. It was clearly NOT due to the number of subscribers on the channel.

For a new entity 14k would be quite respectable..... but for the "leading player in the field"...... a little disappointing.
