  1. A great example of niche marketing. This show demonstrates that if a web series creator studies and takes their show to a niche audience it will be well received by that audience and rewarded with view counts and engagement in return. By growing an audience base organically on Youtube it has been able to avoid the funding dilemma that many shows that have struck a one season deal with portal sites have been faced with.

  2. Well, I'm going to be gone for 3 weeks. No web series today, no internet at all. I will have internet access but it will be at one of those places that fires people who use it. They don't even allow google, WTF! Anyway. Good luck with Venus Spa Season 2.

  4. While we wish we could have any level of funding, we can't complain about having a second season when so many shows don't.

Some will look down their noses at us, (like many in the bubble already have,) and say "anyone can get views like that if they have girls in tight clothes," the fact is very few shows have proven that. A boatload of prep and hard work went into developing, writing and promoting Venus Spa and the results can be seen with the loyal viewership we have. Just cleavage alone can't sustain a following like this forever. We designed a show to be sexy but also safe enough to watch with your wife or kids around for the most part. (Maxim for men over 40 if you will.) So far we've done pretty well with that.

All in all it was a nice article, nicer than the treatment the bubble is notorious for giving us. For that I'm thankful.

  6. Oh, I would like to know the answer to that question. :)

This is what happens when one googles one's own name.
