What is Meerkat? Founder explains most-discussed app of SXSW | Mashable


"The meerkats are moving in colonies, and they're always alerted of what's going on," says Ben Rubin, founder of live-streaming app Meerkat. The company had the distinction of being the most-discussed app at SXSW.

In this video, Rubin, together with Ryan Cooley, community manager of Meerkat, explain what the app aims to achieve.
