"So I feel that there was much potential in the movie, so many avenues to be explored, but it seems like the script writer hadn’t done his/her homework."

  1. Well, I saw the movie Saturday. The movie did not live up to the hype. However, it does have series potential as there are many aspects to the story that could go interesting routes for a sequal.

However, who will go see a Jumper 2 after the first one did not live to expectations? The success of this movie to #1 was solely due to marketing.

That being said, don't mistake me, it was a good movie, just not a great movie, and it certainly did not live up to the marketing hype.
